Attachment 1 to Statement 1109 - Expand the approved Eliwana Mine Development Envelope by 2,496 ha to incorporate an additional two open cut iron ore pits (Penzance and La Manchapits), heavy haulage access and mining infrastructure to support mining of these pits above and below the water table. Direct clearing within the expanded development envelope is up to an additional 185 ha. Extend mining at the six existing approved pits in the Flying Fish area to below water table (mining in the Flying Fish area was limited to above water table mining in the original referral and EPA Report 1642), with no changes to the approval discharge extent of surplus water.
