Environmental advice on the draft Carabooda District Structure Plan

The EPA has prepared advice for the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC), under Section 16 of the of the Environmental Protection Act 1986 (EP Act), for the purpose of identifying key environmental values of the proposed district structure plan area, advising what protection of those values is needed for consistency with the EPA’s objectives, and the environmental planning matters that should be considered at future stages of planning.

In considering the EPA’s environmental advice, the WAPC sought clarification on several matters in the EPA’s Section 16 environmental advice. A copy of the EPA’s response to WAPC is also published here.
