The application by Whittakers Limited is for a licence to be issued under the provisions of the Commonwealth Export Control (Unprocessed Wood) Regulations made under the, Export Control Act 1982, . The development concept being investigated involves a variety of residential and related uses around a core of open space containing the wetland. The facility would be owned and operated by the Health Department and only wastes generated in Western Australia would be accepted for disposal. Proposed Harvey to Kwinana 330Kv Transmission Line

The proposal is for a 330 kV transmission line from Harvey to Kwinana, a distance of approximately 102 km. The first 51 km of the route parallels the existing Bunbury - Cannington 132 kV line from the Harvey Substation site almost to Pinjarra. Fremantle Inner Harbour deepening project

The proposal is to deepen the Inner Harbour of the Port of Fremantle by dredging the harbour by 2 metres to achieve a depth of approximately 13 metres. The dredge spoil would be used to reclaim an area of 27 hectares to the north of the North Mole, to be contained by a sea wall to the west and a bund wall to the north. The proposal is to mine heavy mineral sands, together with Cable Sands (WA) Ply Ltd, from the beach and primary dune at Minninup Beach, Western Australia. The proposed mine site is on the Geographe Bay coastline approximately 10 kilometres south of Bunbury. Wesfarmers LPG Pty Ltd are currently constructing an LPG extraction facility at Kwinana, adjacent to Mason Road, and opposite the proposed site for the Petrochemical Industries Company Limited (PICL) proposal. The facility is designed to extract 150,000 tonnes per annum of propane and butane, with the intention of returning the remaining gases, principally methane and ethane, to the natural gas pipeline for sale to traditional natural gas customers. Proposed ammonia - urea plant, Kwinana

The proposal is to establish a $450 million ammonia/urea facility in the Kwinana industrial area which will produce 500 000 tonnes per annum (t/a) of ammonia . Approximately half of this ammonia is proposed to be utilised to manufacture 430 000 t/a of urea. The proposal calls for the storage of 30 000 tonnes of ammonia.
