The proposal is to source marine sands from Cambridge Gulf, north of Wyndham in northeast Western Australia, for export to overseas construction projects. Resource Group (WA) Pty Ltd proposes to construct and operate a hard rock quarry at the location of Grass Valley, 17 kilometres east of Northam WA. The project will process blasted rock from the quarry into smaller sized proportions suitable for use in concrete, roadworks and other civil works. Sand and Clay Extraction, 1728 Great Northern Highway, Bullsbrook

Brikmakers (BGC Australia Pty Ltd) propose to extract clay and sand at Lots 5 and 6 (1728) Great Northern Highway, Bullsbrook. The site was historically used for the grazing of cattle. Therefore, the majority of the site has been previously cleared of vegetation. Several stands of native trees are located mostly to the west of Lot 5 and to the north of Lot 6. City of Karratha are proposing a trial which involves a total of 7,000m 3 of sand renourishment at Dampier Palms Beach using clean coarse sand from the Extraction Area, south of Hampton Oval. Sand Mining Neaves Road, Mariginiup

The prospecting licences are proposed to be converted to a mining lease.
