Tim's Thicket Liquid Waste Facility Upgrade

The Tims Thicket Waste Management Facility is located approximately 15 km south of Mandurah. The Site covers an area of 28 hectares. The Site has been in operation since 1995. Point Grey Marina

The proposal is for the construction of an onshore marina (and associated boating infrastructure e.g. boat pens, jetties, navigational aids, entrance channel, protective groynes, public boat ramps and car parks) on the western side of the Point Grey peninsula. Samson Brook Redevelopment Scheme

The proposal being assessed is for the diversion of 8 gigalitres a year (on average) (GL/yr) of unallocated water resources in the Samson Catchment to be diverted for public water supply, the construction of a pipe head dam and related infrastructure. In January 1993 the Environmental Protection Authority received an application to irrigate 2ha of asparagus on Lot 4 Service Road, Lake Clifton. The proponent, Mr C A Evans, proposes to irrigate a maximum area of 2ha and use low quantities of fertiliser and ground water for irrigation.
