Cambridge Gulf Marine Sand Proposal

The proposal is to source marine sands from Cambridge Gulf, north of Wyndham in northeast Western Australia, for export to overseas construction projects. The proposal is a vessel-based marine operation with a lifespan of up to 15 years. It does not involve the construction and operation of any shore-based facilities. Hard Rock Quarry, Lot 800 Pruden Road, Whitby

Italia Stone Group proposes to develop a hard rock quarry at Lot 800 Pruden Road Whitby, approximately 3.5 kilometres east of Mundijong in the Shire of Serpentine-Jarrahdale. The proposed quarry is on freehold land and is for the extraction of 50,000 to 100,000 tonnes of hard rock per annum for a period of 20 years. Arrowsmith North Silica Sand Project

VRX Silica Ltd propose to develop a silica sand mine in the Geraldton Sandplain bioregion of Western Australia, approximately 270 km north of Perth. The proposal would include a total disturbance of 412.2 hectares of native vegetation and will involve sequential mining of sand 8 – 15 metres below the soil surface. Gravel Mining at Scrivener Road Reserve Serpentine

The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale proposes to extract gravel from a twelve hectare area known as the Scrivener Road Gravel Reserves. The reserves are located at the top of the scarp south of Serpentine and contain nesting habitat for all three protected black cockatoo species. Sandy Ridge Facility – Alignment of Gate Waste Acceptance Tonnage

Brikmakers (BGC Australia Pty Ltd) propose to extract clay and sand at Lots 5 and 6 (1728) Great Northern Highway, Bullsbrook. The site was historically used for the grazing of cattle. Approximately 15 hectares (ha) of predominately pasture land will be disturbed for the construction of two clay excavation pits, a stockpile area, two dams, and bunds.
