Gravel Mining at Scrivener Road Reserve Serpentine

The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale proposes to extract gravel from a twelve hectare area known as the Scrivener Road Gravel Reserves. The reserves are located at the top of the scarp south of Serpentine and contain nesting habitat for all three protected black cockatoo species. Zemira 3D Seismic Survey

The proposal is to undertake an onshore three-dimensional (3D) seismic survey in the northern Perth Basin. The survey area is about 300 kilometres (km) north of Perth, and its nearest boundary is about 4.5 km north of the town of Eneabba and about 25 km southeast of the town of Dongara. The proposal to develop Lot 4 Underwood Avenue was originally approved for implementation by the Minister for Environment and published Ministerial Statement 835 (MS 835) on 14 July 2010. The proposal has not substantially commenced. Hanson Australia Pty Ltd (formerly Rocla Pty Ltd) proposes to extract sand within Bush Forever Site 390, on mining tenements M70/1142 and M70/1088 approximately 20km South of Perth at Lot 467 Jandakot Road, Banjup (City of Cockburn). Quarry, Lot 344 South Western Highway, Mundijong

The proposal is to open up a hard rock quarry located about 4km east of Mundijong in the Darling Ranges. For the initial development period of 10-15 years, the quarry and infrastructure would be located on the area of mainly cleared land in the northwestern part of the site.
