The Hope Valley Wattleup Redevelopment Project Master Plan is a scheme pursuant to the Environmental Protection Act 1986. In accordance with the requirements of the Hope Valley-Wattleup Redevelopment Act 2000, the scheme was referred to the EPA for the EPA to make a decision on whether or not to assess the scheme.
The Redevelopment Area is close to coastal industrial development that includes the Kwinana Industrial Area, Western Australia’s main heavy industry location. The Master Plan proposes a change in land use for the Redevelopment Area to predominantly industrial and commercial land uses. Current land uses are mixed and include two townsites, extractive industries, other industry, waste disposal, market gardens, turf farms, nurseries and other rural uses, rural residential, cleared land and bushland.

The City of Rockingham’s Amendment No. 300 to Town Planning Scheme No. 1 proposes to rezone Part Lots 306 & 16 and Lots 313 & 774 Fifty Road, Baldivis, from “Rural” to “Development” zone.
The Westem Australian Planning Commission, the Responsible Authority, has initiated Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS) Amendment 1008/33 South Fremantle- Hamilton Hill to rezone 21 ha of land adjacent to South Beach in South Fremantle from the current MRS zoning of Industrial and Railway Reserve to Urban and Parks and Recreation Reserve .
The Western Australian Planning Commision Proposes to rezone approximately 15.5 hectares of land above and adjacent to the Northbridge tunnel from the current Metropolitan Regional Scheme zoning of Controlled Access Highway to Central City Area, Urban or Other Regional Roads and Primary Regional Roads.
The Purpose of the Scheme is to rezone from 'Rural' to 'Special Development ' Lots 75,137-139, 293, 299, 322,672,727,729,738,740,1132,1133 and 1145, Point Grey; to add special provisions to the Shire of Murray Town Planning Scheme No. 4 and to ammend the Shire of Murray Town Planning Scheme No. 4 Scheme Maps accordingly.
