The City of Gosnells has initiated Amendments 166 to zone land from General Rural to Business
Development. The Amendment areas is known as Precinct 3B within the Maddington Kenwick Strategic
Employment Area.
The City of Gosnells has initiated Amendment 169 to zone land from General Rural to Business
Development. The Amendment area is known as Precinct 2 within the Maddington Kenwick Strategic
Employment Area.
The Western Australian Planning Commission proposes to rezone approximately 178 hectares
of land in Maida Vale from the Rural zone to the Urban Deferred zone in order to facilitate
future residential development.
Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS) Amendment 1412 proposes to rezone approximately 98.3ha in Baldivis from ‘Rural’ to ‘Urban Deferred’.
*The City of Kalamunda has advised the EPA it will not be proceeding the scheme amendment.
Rezoning the two lots from Industrial Development to Light Industrial zone.
To rezone Lot 1 Stirling Crescent, the majority of Lot 2 Stirling Crescent, and Lots 192, 3, 20 and 501 Adelaide Street, Hazelmere from 'General Rural' to 'Special Use' and reserve a small portion of Lot 2 Stirling Crescent to 'Local Road'.
The purpose of the Wungong Urban Water Redevelopment Scheme 2006 in broad terms is to provide for the orderly and proper control of development within the Scheme area. The Scheme area consists of approximately 1500 hectares (ha) of rural land in Brookdale. Most of the site is substantially cleared low lying palusplain with the Wungong River traversing the site. The site is mostly in the Southern River catchment of the Swan and Canning Rivers system. A small portion drains to the Birrega Main Drain in the Peel-Harvey catchment.
This scheme was previously known as the 'Brookdale Redevelopment Scheme 2005 Amendment 1 (Brookdale Master Plan)'
The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC), the Responsible Authority, proposes to reserve 201 hectares (ha) of Stakehill Swamp, Baldivis for Parks and Recreation (P&R) in the Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS).
Stakehill Swamp is approximately 50 kilometres south-west of Perth in the City of Rockingham. It is bounded by Stakehill Road, Mandurah Road, Sixty Eight Road and Eighty Road and is south-east of Lake Cooloongup. It consists of 34 properties including land owned by the WAPC and in private ownership. The land surrounding Stakehill Swamp has been significantly cleared over time for agricultural purposes such as market gardening.
To amend reservations and zonings in the Metropolitan Region Scheme consistent with the Alkimos-Eglinton Structure Plan.

The Hope Valley Wattleup Redevelopment Project Master Plan is a scheme pursuant to the Environmental Protection Act 1986. In accordance with the requirements of the Hope Valley-Wattleup Redevelopment Act 2000, the scheme was referred to the EPA for the EPA to make a decision on whether or not to assess the scheme.
The Redevelopment Area is close to coastal industrial development that includes the Kwinana Industrial Area, Western Australia’s main heavy industry location. The Master Plan proposes a change in land use for the Redevelopment Area to predominantly industrial and commercial land uses. Current land uses are mixed and include two townsites, extractive industries, other industry, waste disposal, market gardens, turf farms, nurseries and other rural uses, rural residential, cleared land and bushland.
