ProjectProponent: City of GeraldtonProposal description: The Beresford foreshore, Geraldton is an important link between the amenity precincts of Batavia Coast Marina and Bluff Point. However, it is a highly modified section of coastline that was formally a railway reserve. lt is impacted by coastal erosion and the current coastal protection measures are deemed to be inadequate, especially in the context of sea-level rise predictions. This proposal is to progress the preferred coastal protection option coming out of the Coastal Processes Study and associated community consultation.
