Myalup-Wellington Dam Project – Stage 1 (Works above the Wellington Dam)

The proposal aims to reduce the flow of high salinity river water entering Wellington Dam and improve the quality of dam water for irrigated agriculture in the Collie and Myalup irrigation districts. The proposal is to construct a weir, pump stations and pipeline infrastructure and take saline water from the Collie River East Branch of the Upper Collie River, construct and operate a reverse osmosis Water Treatment Plant and supply desalinated water to the Water Corporation via Harris River Dam. The Shire of Broome is proposing to undertake an upgrade of the Town Beach Jetty as part of a set of upgrades to Broome’s Town Beach, in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Demolition and reconstruction of the Esperance Tanker Jetty

The Shire of Esperance propose to demolish the heritage listed Esperance Tanker Jetty as it has fallen into disrepair and no longer deemed economically viable for the Shire to maintain. Albany Artificial Surf Reef

The City of Albany (CoA) proposes to construct an artificial surfing reef (ASR) at Middleton Beach, southern Western Australia. The proposed ASR will be built at the southern end of the beach with the aim of enhancing the recreational surfing conditions for local residents and tourists. Cape Lambert Port A Marine Structures Refurbishment Project

The Proposal is to undertake essential maintenance works on the Cape Lambert Port A (CLA) wharf facility and associated jetty. The Proposal consists of two components, the CLA Dolphin Life Extension Project and the CLA Jetty Strengthening Project, collectively referred to as CLA Marine Structures Refurbishment Project (the Proposal). Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline (DBNGP) to Albemarle Lithium Plant Gas Pipeline Proposal

DBNGP (WA) Nominees Pty Limited propose to construct 670m of underground natural gas pipeline between the Albemarle Kemerton Plant (a lithium hydroxide manufacturing plant) and the existing Dampier to Bunbury Natural Gas Pipeline.  The proposal is located in Kemerton, approximately 17km north-east of Bunbury and will provide natural gas to the Albemarle Kemerton Plant (Ministerial Statement No. 1085) . Non-Lethal Trial of SMART Drumlines

The proposal is to undertake a trial of the SMART drumlines as a non-lethal shark hazard mitigation tool in Western Australian conditions.  In doing so, it is proposed to catch, tag, relocate and release white sharks.  The proposal is located in waters offshore from Gracetown (offshore from Shire of Augusta Margaret River), in the Ngari Capes Marine Park.  The duration of the trial will be for 15 months.
