The Port Kennedy Regional Recreation Centre – Becher Point, Stage 1 proposal is for the creation of a major public recreation area and conservation park at Port Kennedy. The proposal is for the extension of an existing quarry at The Lakes, approximately 16 kilometres east of Mundaring and 47 kilometres south-west of Northam on the Great Southern Highway.
