The proposal is to construct a sub sea pipeline, onshore gas treatment and compression plant, and sales gas pipeline. The subsea pipeline from the Macedon Gas Field (100 kilometres west of Onslow) connects to the onshore gas treatment and compression plant at Ashburton North (15 kilometres southwest of Onslow). This proposal is for the Development of Industrial Land on the Burrup Peninsula. The proposed site is designated Industrial Lease Area A (Site A). The proponent proposes to construct and operate a number of looping sections adjacent (and connected) to the existing underground gas transmission pipeline within the DBNGP corridor. There are nine separate looping sections proposed from CS 1 south of Karratha, to CS 9, north of Gingin.
