The Western Australian Planning Commission proposes to rezone approximately 110 ha of land in Piara Waters from the ‘Rural-Water Protection’ zone to the ‘Urban’ and ‘Urban Deferred’ zones, and ‘Primary Regional Roads’ reservation. The rezoning will facilitate urban development.

The purpose of Amendment No. 88 is to rezone Lot 7, 106 Guildford Road, Maylands from 'Service Station' to 'Medium and High Density Residential' with the R50 density code, amend Schedule 10 to introduce a new Special Control Area (SCA) and associated development provisions covering Lot 7, 106 Guildford Road, Lot 8, 4 and Lot 5, 6 Third Avenue East, Maylands and amend the Scheme Map accordingly.
Amendment 183 proposes to:
• Rezone approximately 6.5 ha of Lot 33 Padbury Avenue, Millendon and a portion of the Padbury Avenue road reserve, to 'Swan Valley Rural';
• Rezone approximately 1.5 ha of Lot 9332 Hammersley Road, Caversham (formerly Riverbank Detention facility) to 'Swan Valley Rural; and

The City of Armadale proposes to introduce zones and reserves over the Champion Drive
Precinct as part of the process of reintroducing the precinct into the City's Town Planning Scheme No.4 (TPS 4). The precinct is currently within the Armadale Redevelopment Scheme 2
with the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority (MRA) as the authority responsible for planning.
