The city of Wanneroo proposes to rezone the Yanchep/Two Rocks area to "Urban Development Zone", "Center Zone and "Industrial Development Zone" from current town planning scheme (TPS) no 1 zonings of primarily "Central City Area", "Rural", "Service Station", "Special Zone (Additional Use) Video Hire" and "Residential Development".
The City of Wanneroo proposes to rezone Lots 201 and 202 Breakwater Drive, Two Rocks from the zoning of "Rural" to "Rural Community"
To rezone lots 6,13,10 and 26, corner Nairn Road and Safety Bay road Baldivis from 'Rural' zone to Baldivis Town Centre zone and to amend the scheme maps accordingly; and to introduce provisions for the Baldivis Town Centre in the Scheme Text.
The Shire of Kalamunda proposes to rezone the substantive area of the Forrestfield Marshalling Yards to "General Industry" with portions zoned for "Light Industry", "Mixed Use" and reserved for "Public Open Space". The amendment also provides for the relocation of the "Important Regional Road" reservation from Dundas Road to a location within the Forrestfield Marshalling Yards and the zoning and reservation of the land formerly required for that road to purposes consistent with adjoining land.
The proposal is to rezone the southern portion of the Forrestfield Marshalling Yards to "Industrial" with portion for the purposes of an Office Park and to reserve Aberthany Road as an "Important Regional Road".
The City of Gosnells has initiated Amendment No 478 to the City of Gosnells Town Planning Scheme no 1 for the purposes of rezoning an area of approximately 465 hectares in Canning Vale from "Rural" zone to "Residential Development" zone and "Public Purposes High School" reserve.
Proposal to rezone Part Lots 521 and 523 South Western Highway, Byford from "Rural" to "Residential", "Commercial", "Public Open Space Reserve", "Public and community Purpose Reserve" and "Mixed Use". The area is currently zoned "Urban" and "Urban Deferred" under the Metropolitan Region Scheme.
The State Planning Commission has initiated a Major Amendment to the Metropolitan Region Scheme (Amendment No. 927/33), known as the Canning Vale-Southern River area.
