ProjectProponent: CSBP LimitedProposal description: CSBP currently produces approximately 235,000 tpa of ammonium nitrate at its Kwinana operations which are located within the Kwinana Industrial Area. This proposal is to expand the ammonium nitrate production capacity to approximately 580,000 tpa by debottlenecking and duplicating its existing facilities. The expansion includes: duplication and/or debottlenecking of the existing 500 tpd nitric acid plant; duplication and/or debottlenecking of the existing 635 tpd ammonium nitrate reaction plant; construction of a new 90% ammonium nitrate solution storage tank (250 m3); construction of a new prilling plant; and a review of ammonium nitrate storage facilities.
