Albemarle Kemerton Plant

Albemarle Lithium Pty Ltd (Albemarle) is proposing to stablish the Albemarle Kemerton Plant, a Lithium hydroxide Product manufacturing plant and associated infrastructure, within the Kemerton Strategic Industrial Area (KSIA), approximately 17 kilometres north-east of Bunbury. Utah Point Berth Project (Stage B)

The Utah Point Berth Project consists of two separate stages: Stage A: Dredging and Reclamation; and Stage B: Construction and Operation. Kalium Lakes Potash Pty Ltd is seeking to develop a sub-surface brine deposit to produce approximately 150 kilotonne per annum of Sulphate of Potash product and by-products. Expansion of Jurien Gypsum Mining Operation Ml70/1161

The proposal is for the mining of a 53-hectare area and processing of approximately 1.3 million tonnes of gypsum recovered from Mining Lease 70/1161 using the facilities currently employed for operations in the adjacent Mining Lease 70/750. Final remediation works for the former Cresco site, Bayswater

CSBP Limited propose to remediate the former Cresco site in Bayswater. There is up to 280,000 m 3 of contaminated soil present on site. The contamination was caused by the disposal of pyritic wastes or cinders, lead chamber washings, sodium bisulphate, den-scrubber effluent, superphosphate and other building wastes during the site’s history. Methanex proposes to develop a methanol complex on the Burrup Peninsula, approximately 1300 kilometres north of Perth. The selected project site is located in the King Bay – Hearson Cove Industrial Area, approximately 6 and 10 kilometres from the towns of Dampier and Karratha respectively.
