The proposal is to upgrade the existing Mine facilities by increasing the maximum daily process from 8 000 tonnes to 12 000 tonnes. Ore would continue to be mined from the same orebody currently being mined. It is therefore expected that the proposed increases in the rate of production would shorten the overall project life from fifteen to possibly ten years.
