Dominion Mining Limited submitted a Consultative Environmental Review for the Yakabindie Nickle Project to the Environmental Protection Authority in April 1990 (EPA Bulletin 444). The proposed Yakabindie minesite is located within the lease area of the Yakabindie Pastoral Station approximately 5 kilometres east of the main Leinster to Wiluna road.
