Amendment 1443 proposes to reclassify land currently occupied by the Edith Cowan University (ECU) from 'Public Purpose – Tertiary Education reservation' to an 'Urban' zone and 'Public Purpose - High School Reserve’ and ‘Regional Open Space- Restricted Public Access reservation’ to ‘Other Regional Roads reservation’.
Amendment 2 proposes to transfer land in Roelands from ‘Priority Agriculture’, ‘Rural’ and ‘Local Road’ to ‘Rural Residential’ and ‘Public Open Space (POS)’. The permitted Lot sizes within the ‘Rural Residential’ zone are 1 to 4 ha. The amendment relates to Stage 1 of the Treendale Structure Plan Policy Area 3B that was approved by the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) on 6 April 2023, prior to the initiation of this amendment.
The scheme will give effect to the Redcliffe Station Precinct Improvement Scheme No.
1 (RSPIS No. 1) (including scheme text and map), associated with Improvement Plan
No. 45: Redcliffe Station Precinct.
Amendment 335 proposes to amend the Shire of Murray’s Local Planning Scheme 4
(LPS4) by rezoning various lots in Dwellingup and Inglehope from ‘State Forest’ to
‘Rural’ to align with the Peel Region Scheme.
The amendment proposes to transfer approximately 53.6 ha of land from the ‘Rural – Water Protection’ zone to the ‘Urban’ zone, and 3.8 ha of from Rural to ‘Regional Open Space’ and ‘Water Catchments’ reserve.
To rezone approximately 123.5 hectares of land in Wattle Grove from the Rural zone to the Urban zone
The amendment proposes to insert ‘Restaurant/Café’ as an additional use in existing ‘Additional Use 37’ (Schedule 2), applicable to Lots 810 and 811 Wanneroo Road, Wanneroo, and to modify existing text for ‘Shop’.
The scheme amendment is proposed to facilitate the implementation of the Albany Highway Precinct Structure Plan (AHPSP). The amendment includes changes in zoning, reservation and R-codes of various lots within the AHPSP, and administrative text changes.
The amendment proposes several changes, including to rezone various lots within Forrestdale Townsite East Urban Precinct (the precinct) from ‘Rural Living 2’ to ‘Urban Development’, amend ‘Schedule 8’ to give effect to ‘Development Area No. 73’ (DA 73), amend ‘Special Control Area Map 1’ by deleting ‘Sewerage Treatment Plant’ on Lots 510 and 5060 Waterworks Road, Haynes, and amend ‘Special Control Area Map 3’ by inserting ‘DA 73’.
The EPA acknowledges that an area of ‘Public Purposes – Drainage’ reservation within the precinct is proposed to be transferred to the ‘Urban Development’ zone as part of the final adoption of the amendment.
The scheme will give effect to the Oats Street Station Precinct Structure Plan
(OSSPSP), which includes the rezoning of various lots and reserves and administrative
changes. The amendment area is fully developed.
