Amendment No.112 proposes to include DevelopmentWA’s Kelmscott Precinct into the Town
Planning Scheme (TPS) No.4 boundary in order for the City to reassume planning control over
the Precinct. It would also establish TPS No.4 zonings for the normalised area which are
consistent with the zonings proposed by Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS) amendment
Amendment 1 is an Omnibus amendment which proposes a number of revisions to the Scheme text and maps. These largely relate to changes to reflect existing land uses, and administrative requirements.
Amendment 33 proposes to rezone Lot 558 Beadon Creek Road from ‘Tourism’ to ‘Industrial’
zone with an additional clause to restrict the use of the site for ‘Storage
The City of Wanneroo proposes to amend the scheme to normalise the zonings of the four structure plan areas to then allow the Structure Plans for be revoked.
Amendment 18 proposes to rezone Lot 103 (Number 2500) Helena Valley Road, Helena Valley from ‘Rural Residential’ to ‘Park Home Park’ in order to allow an extension of the adjacent Park Home Park.
The Shire of Esperance Amendment 7 proposes numerous modifications to the scheme text.
The modifications fall into broad categories as follows:
• Review of land use permissibilities,
• Modifying, deleting and inclusion of Additional Uses,
• Deletion, inclusion and modifications of Special Uses,
• General renumbering of clauses and subclauses,
• Stipulation of a Height Limit for a Renewable Energy Facility; and
• Rezoning of land to reflect land use.
The City of Swan proposes to reclassify a 0.02 hectare portion of Lot 501 on Plan 69205 Paradise Quays, Ballajura from ‘Special Use Zone No. 23’ to the ‘Recreation’ reserve and amend the scheme map accordingly. The amendment will increase the separation distance between Emu Swamp and the amended ‘Special Use Zone’ boundary from 50 metres (m) to 80 m.
It is also proposed to amend the scheme text to provide more prescriptive requirements for density and built form within ‘Special Use Zone No. 23’.
The City of Swan proposes to amend the scheme text to provide greater detail on the
development standards (such as building height) that apply within ‘Special Use Zone
No.26’ (future retirement village) Lot 5 Elvire Street Viveash.
The City of Bayswater proposes to rezone Lot 2 (No. 81) Camboon Road Noranda from ‘Special Purpose (Nursery)’ to ‘Residential R50’ and update the scheme map accordingly. The scheme text is proposed to be updated to delete reference to Lot 2 under Appendix 3 – Special Purpose Zones.
The City of Armadale proposes to introduce a Development Contribution Plan (DCP) over the Piara Waters West Urban Precinct.
