The Shire of Nannup (the Shire) proposes to replace its current Local Planning Scheme No. 3 (LPS 3) with Local Planning Scheme No. 4 (LPS 4). LPS 4 is an updated version of LPS 3 that aligns with the Shire’s Local Planning Strategy and the state, regional and local planning framework.
Lots 557 to 563 DP 67882 Premier Road Shotts is currently zoned Special Use 11, allowing for industrial land uses associated with the coal industry. The Shire proposes to amend LPS 5 to increase the range of permissible land uses to allow industry not related to coal to be permitted, and include further structure planning provisions for Lots 557-563 Premier Road; and to include additional land use definitions for the whole scheme area.
The Shire of Manjimup proposes to rezone 9.5 ha of Lot 7489 Burma Road, Pemberton from ‘Future Development’ to ‘Tourist Enterprise’. The rezoning will facilitate the development of a camping ground and caravan park. Amendment 24 also proposes to change the reserve status of portions of two neighbouring lots from ‘Public Purposes: Government Requirements’ and ‘State Forest and Other Forest Reserves’ to ‘Local Roads’ to facilitate road access.
The City of Albany proposes to rezone Lot 5780 Down Road South, Drome from Priority Agriculture to Special Use No. 26 to facilitate the development of the Albany Motorsport Park. Development and use of the Motorsport Park is required to be in accordance with the conditions specified in Schedule 4 of the scheme, the Albany Motorsport Park Precinct Plan and approved management plans for Noise, Water, Hydrocarbons, Waste, Dust, Acid Sulphate Soils, Protected Exclusion Zone, Decommissioning and Construction.
The City of Armadale proposes to introduce 3 lots currently under the Armadale Redevelopment Scheme 2 into its local planning scheme. Lot 2 Keane Road and Lot 4853 Allen Road are proposed to be reserved as Parks and Recreation and Lot 9500 Armadale Road is proposed to be zoned Industrial Development.
Transfer of approximately 5,515 hectares of land from a local reserve – Recreation to the Rural zone.
Transferring approximately 10.2 hectares of land in High Wycombe from the ‘Urban’ zone and ‘Rural’ zones to the ‘Parks and Recreation’ reservation in the Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS). The amendment also proposes to zone a small ‘Urban’ area for future Public Open Space.

The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) proposes to reintroduce the Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS) over part of the land currently zoned and reserved under the Armadale Redevelopment Scheme No. 2, consistent with the Wungong Urban Water Master Plan (WUWMP).
The Western Australian Planning Commission proposes to rezone 1350 hectares of land in the Shire of Dardanup from ‘Rural’ to ‘Industrial to facilitate the development of the proposed ‘Waterloo Industrial Expansion Area’.
