The amendment proposes to insert new Clauses 6.4.6 and 6.10.4(c), to introduce
minimum lot sizes of 2 hectares (ha) and 4 ha applicable to the ‘Special Rural’ (SR)
and ‘Hills Landscape Protection’ (HLP) zones respectively, renumber Clauses 6.4.6 –
6.4.9 and 6.10.4(c) – (q), and delete the plan over Lot 491 and part Lot 643 Hines
Road, North Dandalup from ‘Schedule 9 – Hills Landscape Protection Zone’.
The amendment proposes to rezone various lots and reserves within the Marbelup and
Cuthbert localities from ‘Rural’ and ‘Infrastructure Services’ to ‘Rural Residential’, ‘Rural
Smallholdings’, and ‘Drainage and Waterway’. The scheme maps are to be amended
accordingly.
The amendment proposes to rezone Lot 9508 Burt Parkway from ‘Public Open Space’
(POS) to ‘Residential (R20 and R35)’ and ‘Local Road’, and Lot 8006 Murray Walkway
from ‘Residential (R10)’ to POS, respectively.
The amendment proposes to rezone Lot 709 Armadale Road, Banjup from the ‘Rural
– Water Source Protection’ zone to the ‘Urban Deferred’ zone, to enable future urban
land uses (including residential development).
The amendment is to rezone approximately 16.48 ha from ‘Rural’ zone to the ‘Urban’
zone and ‘Parks and Recreation’ reservation in the Metropolitan Region Scheme
(MRS)
The amendment proposes to transfer 4.02 ha of land in Dayton from the ‘Public Purposes – Special Use’ and ‘Primary Regional Roads’ reserves to the ‘Urban’ zone.
The amendment proposes to insert a new Special Control Area 1 (SCA 1) under Clause
6.14.1.1(c) of the scheme text, applicable to various lots zoned ‘Canal Development’ in
South Yunderup, and to amend the scheme maps accordingly. The purpose of SCA1
is to provide development control that protects the character and amenity of the canals.
The amendment proposes to rezone Lot 106 (Reserve 26242), Newton Street,
Dwellingup from ‘Public Purposes’ to ‘Residential’ (R10), and amend the Scheme Maps
accordingly.
The amendment proposes to rezone Lot 9000 Hidden Valley Road and Brennand
Road, Dongara from ‘Residential R12.5’ to ‘Rural Residential’.
The scheme will give effect to the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre Precinct
Improvement Scheme No. 1, bound by the Narrows interchange, Mounts Bay Road,
and William Street, Perth.
