Amendment 182 proposes to add 'Solar Collectors Incidental to Buildings' to Schedule 5 -
Exempted Development, to reduce instances where approval is required to install incidental solar collectors (including solar panels) to buildings within all zones of the scheme.
Amendment 149 proposes changes to the Scheme to integrate State Planning Policy 7.0 Design of the Built Environment to achieve bette r grouped dwelling outcomes.
Amendment 181 proposes to rezone a portion of Lot 1 and a portion of Lot 2 Great Northern,
Highway Bullsbrook from 'General Rural' to 'Residential Development'; rezone a portion of Lot 1 Vale Road,
Hazelmere from 'Rural Residential' to 'Light Industrial' with 'Restricted Use'; and rezone a portion of Lot 100
Weir Road, Malaga from Regional Reserve 'Public Purposes' to 'Industrial Development'.
Amendment 60 proposes to facilitate subdivision from 3 hectare lots to 1 hectare lots.
The City of Joondalup proposes to vary the Residential Design Codes requirements in its 10
Housing Opportunity Areas. The variations will allow for higher density development while controlling the form of development and requirements for landscaped areas.
The City of Armadale proposes to. zone and reserve land within the Forrestdale Business
Park East Precinct. Scheme Amendment 107 has been initiated in preparation for the future resumption of planning control from the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority.
Amendment 99 proposes an Omnibus Amendment which includes minor updates to the Scheme and Maps for the Piara Waters and Harrisdale areas.
