Amendment 1 is an omnibus amendment which proposes a number of revisions to the Scheme text and maps. These largely relate to changes to reflect existing land uses, and administrative requirements.
Amendment 11 proposes to introduce local development planning requirements for future Residential Aged Care facilities, and requirements for non-residential development to comply with the R codes, subject to some variation exemptions.
Amendment 10 proposes conditions regarding built form requirements such as low density, bulk, scale, height, street alignment and setbacks, within a residential aged care facility area.
Amendment 7 proposes to rezone fully developed land in Hillarys from ‘Urban Development’ to the ‘Residential’ zone and ‘Public Open Space’ and ‘Local Road’ reserves, to apply the ‘R25’ and ‘R40’ residential density codes, and to reflect the current land uses and Cook Avenue Structure Plan.
Amendment 64 proposes to modify the scheme text to amend clause 4.3(1)(p) to allow the R-Codes (in part) to apply within the Canning Bridge Activity Centre.
Amendment 7 proposes to retain the existing Centre (C4) zoning for the Marshall Road Local Centre under Local Planning Scheme 6, and replace the Restricted Use (R2) classification with an Additional Use (A19) classification.
Transferring approximately 10.2 hectares of land in High Wycombe from the ‘Urban’ zone and ‘Rural’ zones to the ‘Parks and Recreation’ reservation in the Metropolitan Region Scheme (MRS). The amendment also proposes to zone a small ‘Urban’ area for future Public Open Space.
Amendment 39 proposes to introduce Additional Uses over Lot 1 (No.29) St Leonard’s Avenue, West Leederville for the purposes of ‘Restaurant/Café’ and ‘Small Bar’ and amend the Scheme Map accordingly.
Amendment 6 proposes to rectify an anomaly concerning ‘Private Community Purposes’ zone within the scheme. This will change the land use permissibility of ‘Grouped Dwelling’ and ‘Multiple Dwelling’ from a ‘discretionary land’ use to a ‘not permitted’ land use in the ‘Private Community Purposes’ zone; Rezone Lot 29 Barradine Way, Craigie from ‘Private Community Purposes’ to Residential R40 and add ‘Grouped Dwelling’ and ‘Multiple Dwelling’ to the land at Joondalup Resort.
Amendment 185 proposes improvements to the administration of developer contribution arrangements to the East Wanneroo (Cells 1-9) Agreed Structure Plans.
