The initial proposal by Worsley to develop the Boddington Gold Mine approximately 12km north-west of the town of Boddington was the subject of an EPA evaluation in 1985 (EPA 1985). The proposal is to develop a titanium minerals mine on Mining Leases 70/49, 70/937 and 70/938 and to mine an ore body located on Reserve 31900 and private property within the Shire of Harvey.
