The proposal is to harvest and export approximately 163,000 tonnes of, Eucalyptus globulus, woodchips from private plantations over the next five years. A trial shipment of approximately 13,000 tonnes is planned for 1993 with exports rising to 70,000 tonnes per year by 1997.
