The Shire of Koorda proposes to reclassify 3649m2 of land adjacent to the Koorda Caravan
Park from 'Parks and Recreation' reserve to the 'Special Use - Holiday and Workforce Accommodation' zone.
Rezone from Rural Residential and Agriculture to Urban Development zone.
Amendment 041-57 proposes to remove the Water Catchments-Special Control Area from
land where Public Drinking Water Source Areas have been abolished
Amendment 141 proposes to introduce a new Development Contribution Plan 15 to the
Schemes Table 10 and a new Development Contribution Area 15 to the Scheme map. The purpose of the
development contribution plan is to enable development contributions for new infrastructure which is required
for subdivision/development within the suburbs of Treeby and Jandakot.
Amendment 39 proposes to remove Special Provision 33 given that there is no planning
framework for the requirement for any future residential development to incorporate a
minimum 60% single bedroom dwellings. Lot 202 Bussell Highway, West Busselton is proposed
to be re-coded from R40/R60 to R60 and Lot 201 Seymour Street, West Busselton is proposed
to be re-coded from R40/R60 to R40. The Scheme Maps will be amended accordingly.
Amendment 111 proposes to amend the Scheme Text to provide increased clarity and
consistency to ensure that land required for road widening can be ceded to the Crown free of cost, where this
has been identified in various planning and transport Region Schemes, Control Areas, Local Planning Schemes,
Activity Centre Plans and Development Plans.
Amendment 84 proposes to include new land use designations and modify the interpretation
in relation to telecommunications infrastructure to ensure that development applications for
telecommunications infrastructure are given an appropriate level of consideration and that
Scheme provisions are consistent with SPP 5.2 - Telecommunications Infrastructure.
Amendment 176 proposes to prohibit the use classes of Food and Beverage Production, Place
of Worship, Restaurant, Roadhouse and Tavern uses in the Swan Valley Rural zone, and introduce 6 new land use classes to facilitate permissibility for food and beverage production where these are undertaken in conjunction with traditional agricultural activities.
To permit the additional use of 'Industry- General', limited to bitumen processing, on the subject site.
Amendment 10 proposes to ensure that the Scheme Text is revised to be consistent with the 'Model Provisions for 'Local Planning Schemes' and the 'Deemed Provisions' contained in the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015.
