The EPA, in agreement with Rey Resources Limited, has recently terminated its assessment of the Duchess Paradise Project, a coal mine and transport proposal located in Canning Basin area in the West Kimberley.


Environment Minister Albert Jacob has announced a new fund to support co-ordinated conservation in the Pilbara.

The new conservation implementation framework will be funded through offsets from approved mining and infrastructure projects.
