Woodside Energy Ltd has provided a combined document that relates to both its Commonwealth referral (Environment Protection and Biodiversity Act 1999) and State referral (Environmental Protection Act 1986).
The component within State Waters includes drilling and completion, installation, commissioning, operation, well repair and workover and decommissioning of subsea wells and associated infrastructure located in Western Australian State waters, to extract hydrocarbons from the Torosa reservoir, located approximately 425 km north of Broome and approximately 290 km off the Kimberley coast.
Regarding the application submitted under s.43A of the EP Act to change the proposal during the EPA’s assessment in May 2025, due to website constraints, the proponent’s s.43A application information has been provided on a separate s.43A webpage. Please refer to the s.43A webpage for the proponent’s response to submissions on the s.43A application.
