Amendment 62 proposes to introduce a new sub-clause into the Scheme to allow for

The City of Swan has initiated Amendment 173 to rezone Lot 5 Elvire Street, Viveash from
'Residential' to 'Special Use Zone' with Retirement Village provisions. The rezoning will allow
for the redevelopment of the serviced apartments to a Retirement Village.
To insert a notification on title due to proximity to an operating orchard, and to allow minor
scheme map changes to the Local Open Space reserve, Residential R5 and Special Rural zones,
within the subject area.
The Western Australian Planning Commission proposes to rezone approximately 118
hectares of land from the Rural zone to the Urban Deferred zone to facilitate future urban
development.
The Town of Claremont has initiated Amendment 140 to update the Scheme to be in
accordance with the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015.
