Remediation of the Midland Railway Workshops - Areas B, C and D for the Proposed Police Operations Support Facility, Midland

The Midland Redevelopment Authority proposes to remediate 15.5 hectares of land referred to as the Clayton Precinct which comprises the eastern part of the Midland Railway Workshops site located immediately south of the Midland town centre in Midland. Bullsbrook Turf Farm Expansion

Mr John Maas (Bullsbrook Turf) proposes to expand the existing turf farm at Lot 8 Raphael Road, Bullsbrook from 12 hectares (ha) to 26 ha. The proposal is within the Ellen Brook catchment. The turf farm has two centre pivot irrigators (pivots 1 and 2) with a combined irrigated area of 26 ha. The proponent currently has 8 ha of turf under pivot 1 and 4 ha of turf under pivot 2. Ord River Irrigation Area Stage 2 (M2 Supply Channel), Kununurra - Management

The proposal is to develop a raw sugar industry on the Weaber, Keep River and Knox Creek Plains. The M2 Project is located near Kununurra within the Victoria-Bonaparte Biogeographic Region and the project area extends over approximately 76,000 ha of land comprising the Weaber, Keep River and Knox Creek Plains, and involves approximately equal areas within WA and the NT.
