Main Roads Western Australia (MRWA) proposes to construct and maintain a new road from Northwest Coastal Highway (near Karratha), through the Millstream-Chichester National Park (NP), to the Nanutarra-Munjina Road intersection (north of Tom Price).

Attachment 2 to Statement 677 – Changes:
• Create a total disturbance footprint of 574 hectares, by combining the following areas of disturbance:
  - Road formation – approximately 474 hectares; and
  - Material sources – approximately 100 hectares.
• Remove the following elements which are no longer considered Key Proposal Characteristics:
  - Design speed (110 kilometres per hour).
  - Railway crossings (One road-over-rail bridge. Four new level crossings.) – change to proposal approved under section 45C on 21 June 2018.
