Proposal description: 

King Street Trust is applying for Planning Consent and an Extractive Industries Licence for sand extraction on Lot 226, Paterson Road, Nambeelup, for a period of 10 years.

Lot 226 Paterson Road is approximately 155 hectares (ha) in size. The proposal will require a total of 24.5 ha of proposed disturbance (excavation) including 12.7 ha of native vegetation clearing. The depth of excavation will be between 1 to 5 metres below natural land surface, with the rate of excavation between 50 000 and 150 000 tonnes per year.
