Project Proponent Water Corporation Proposal description The proposal is to duplicate the existing Advanced Water Recycling Plant (AWRP) at the Beenyup facility in Craigie. The proposal also includes the construction of two water recharge sites and pipeline infrastructure along a 12.8 km route through the suburbs of Woodvale, Wanneroo, Ashby and Neerabup to recharge approximately 14 GL of recycled water to the Leederville and Yarragadee aquifers. The proposal forms Stage 2 of the Perth Groundwater Replenishment Scheme (GRWS) with the expansion of 14 GL per annum to Stage 1 of the GWRS, resulting in a total recharge to the Leederville and Yarragadee aquifers of approximately 28 GL per annum.
