Project Proponent Department of Water Proposal description The management and abstraction of groundwater for public and private water supply from the Gnangara Mound, with provision for environmental water requirements In response to the Minister for Environment’s request to review the environmental monitoring sites in light of changes in environmental values and the predicted influence of climate variability the DoW has proposed to remove some criteria sites from the current environmental approval and to rationalise other conditions and commitments of the approval. These proposed changes are set out in the environmental review document (DoW 2008), specifically Tables 10, 11, 12, and 13 of the document.
