South West Creek Dredging and Reclamation Proposal

Proposal description

The proposal involves the dredging of not more than 14.2 million cubic metres (Mm3) of material for eight new berth pockets, a turning circle and a link to the existing shipping channel. The proposal also involves the construction of two new land based dredge management areas (DMMAs). Dredged material will be disposed offshore at an existing disposal ground in Commonwealth waters and the new and existing DMMAs.
