Proposal description: 

The proposal is for Stage 2 of the Kanowna Belle Gold Mine, comprising the construction and operation of a sulphide concentrate oxidation plant (roaster) within the existing mine site infrastructure.

Stage 2 will provide the necessary facilities to further treat high sulphide containing ores to remove the gold that is not extracted in the Stage 1 plant. Stage 2 will include the addition of a vacuum filter, storage tanks, a roaster, gas train and stack, and additional cyanidation tanks.
