The proponent has requested permission to continue using on-site effluent disposal systems with nutrient retention capabilities until the sewer line passes the property. The Water Authority of Western Australia will construct a sewer line along Bertram Road, past the school, which will enable the school to connect at a far lesser cost than that required by the connection to the East Parmelia pump station and rising pressure main which is approximately 500m from the school.
