The proposal is to construct and operate a tidal power station across the mouth of Doctor’s Creek, near Derby, for the generation of electricity. The proposal also includes the construction of power lines to distribute power to major centres in the West Kimberley.

The proposal was remitted by the Minister for further assessment (Assessment 1453).
