Griffin Energy Pty Ltd, proposes to construct and operate the 200MW Bluewaters Power Station on a site located approximately 4km north-east of Collie. It will be a subcritical coal fired base-load generation facility with a nominal generating capacity of up to 200MW. The Bluewaters Power Station will supply electricity to customers in the proposed Coolangatta Industrial Estate, or via the South West Interconnected System (SWIS).
