The Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) has been playing an important role in protecting Western Australia’s unique environment for more than 50 years.

In this short video, EPA Deputy Chair Lee McIntosh outlines the broad functions of the independent EPA and how its work, including environmental impact assessments, is governed by the Environmental Protection Act 1986.
