Renergi Pty Ltd propose to build and operate a trial pyrolysis plant in the Shire of Collie. The rial will run for up to 2 years.

The proposal involves the treatment of municipal waste and forestry waste via pyrolysis to produce a biochar, condensed bio-oil and wood vinegar.

The trial plant is small scale and will be constructed within the boundary of the Collie waste facility operated by the Shire of Collie
