The CSIRO is proposing to construct and operate the SKA-1 Low Frequency Aperture Array. The SKA -1 Low Frequency Aperture Array would be constructed at the SKA Telescope on Boolardy Station approximately 315 km northeast of Geraldton in the Murchison region.

The proposal for the SKA – Low Frequency Aperture Array includes a total disturbance of 608 hectares for construction of the Array, access tracks and infrastructure.
