Kalgoorlie Consolidated Gold Mines (KCGM), operator of Mt Charlotte underground gold mine in Kalgoorlie, proposes to mine two pits adjacent to Mt Charlotte. These pits will uncover the floor pillars of the Reward and Northern orebodies closest to the surface. the underground portions of these orebodies have already been mined as far as possible from underground.
