The Western Australia Police Service has applied to the Minister for the Environment under regulation 17 of the Environmental Protection (Noise) Regulations 1997 to allow the emission of noise from the WA Police Academy, Joondalup to exceed the prescribed standard for noise emissions as specified in noise regulation 7.
