Amendment 159 proposes to rezone various landholdings on Rowley Road, Mandogalup from ‘Rural A’ zone to the ‘Development ‘zone.
The amendment proposes to rezone Lot 500 Wellington Mill Road, Wellington Mill from ‘State Forest’ to ‘Rural’ under the Greater Bunbury Region Scheme. Lot 500 was excised from state forest in 2020 and sold into private ownership. The proposed amendment is a rationalisation, providing for an appropriate zoning to reflect the current and historic use of the site for a residential premises.
Amendment 53 proposes to insert additional scheme text at Clause B of Schedule 9 within the
City of Busselton Local Planning Scheme 21. The proposed amendment is to clarify that subject
to the provisions of Schedule 9, illuminated, animated and digital advertising signage is not
exempt from the requirement for development approval from the City.
