The amendment to the City of Wanneroo District Planning Scheme 2 proposes to add a new Clause under Schedule 14, Part 1 General Provisions (Clause 1.15) to introduce operational timeframes for the Developer Contribution Plans for East Wanneroo Cells 1-9.
The amendment proposes to amend the scheme text to alter the definition of rural worker accommodation, to delete reference to ‘short stay’ and modify reference too ‘working on that landholding’ to remove restrictions on workers having to work on the landholding where they are accommodated.
The amendment proposes to rezone Lot 340 Coronation Street, Trayning from ‘Public purposes - Civic and Cultural’ to ‘Residential’.
The amendment proposes to modify the short stay provisions for Restricted Use No. 16 at Schedule 8 of the Scheme, to provide for permanent occupation within Lots 100 and 101 Rigg Road, Myalup.
Amendment 162 aims to rationalise Development Area 11’s (DA11) Structure Plans No.11C, D, E, F, H, I, L, M and N, by transferring the zones and reserves of the structure plans into Town Planning Scheme No.3.
Amendment 163 aims to rationalise Development Area 11’s (DA11) Structure Plans No.11A and 11G by transferring the zones and reserves of the structure plans and other land parcels into Town Planning Scheme No.3.
Amendment 209 aims to rationalise the East Wanneroo Cell 1 (Tapping and Ashby) Agreed Local Structure Plan No.3 (ASP3) and the Ashby Neighbourhood Centre Agreed Local Structure Plan No.77 (ASP77) by transferring the zones and reserves of the structure plans into the City of Wanneroo District Planning Scheme 2.
The amendment proposes to introduce text at Schedule A of the Scheme to provide for the appointment of a Design Review Panel as an advisory body to the Council on future planning matters.
The amendment proposes to insert new land use definitions at Schedule 1 of the Scheme, and additional uses for Lot 10 New Street, Williams at Schedule 5 of the Scheme. The proposed amendment is to facilitate discretionary approval for existing land uses within the amendment area.
Amendment 43 proposes additional scheme text to provide protection to trees on private land which is zoned R30 and below. The amendment proposes to insert a new provision into the scheme which will require a development application for the removal of a tree which complies with a selection criteria. A Draft Local Planning Policy 3.25: Trees on Private Land, has been prepared to support Amendment 43.
