The City of Kalamunda proposes to rezone Lot 112 (280) Holmes Road and Lot 14 (323)
Hawtin Road, Forrestfield from Special Rural to Special Use and insert additional site-specific development conditions into Schedule 4 of the scheme.
The City of Bayswater proposes to rezone two lots totalling 5000m2 from Public Purposes
(Religious Institution) and No Zone to Residential R50 to facilitate residential development.
Amendment 4 proposes to reclassify a portion of Lot 75 from "public open space - restricted" to "public purpose - primary school" and portion of Lot 100 from "public purpose - primary school" to "public open space".
The City of Fremantle proposes to delete scheme provisions which list types of development
and signage exempt from development approval. Types of development and signage which are exempt from development approval will be listed in a local planning policy.
The City of Joondalup proposes to amend its scheme text to ensure the advice and
recommendations of the Joondalup Design Reference Panel are given due regard when determining development applications.
Amendment 5 proposes to modify the current provision to retain low density, single storey residential development by permitting infill development as subdivision to the rear of existing dwellings within the area bounded by Beaufort Street, Fitzgerald Street, Vincent Street and Walcott Street.
Amendment 1 proposes to better align the definition of 'storey' with other MRA, State and
Local Government statutory planning documents for greater clarity when assessing development applications within the Subiaco Redevelopment Area.
The City of Gosnells proposes to reclassify Charles Hook Park, Huntingdale from Local Open Space Reserve to partial Local Open Space and partial Residential R25. Reclassification will facilitate the development of dwellings to surround a smaller open space area.
Amendment 141 proposes to introduce a new Development Contribution Plan 15 to the
Schemes Table 10 and a new Development Contribution Area 15 to the Scheme map. The purpose of the
development contribution plan is to enable development contributions for new infrastructure which is required
for subdivision/development within the suburbs of Treeby and Jandakot.
Amendment 111 proposes to amend the Scheme Text to provide increased clarity and
consistency to ensure that land required for road widening can be ceded to the Crown free of cost, where this
has been identified in various planning and transport Region Schemes, Control Areas, Local Planning Schemes,
Activity Centre Plans and Development Plans.
