The Shire of Mount Magnet proposes to amend its Local Planning Scheme No. 2 to comply with the model and deemed provisions, revise some planning controls, and respond to additional objectives to be included in the Local Planning Strategy. Amendment 1 will also amend Schedule 4 to permit the development of a Service Station and Fuel Depot on Lot 529 Richardson Street, Mount Magnet.
The Shire of Murray proposes to modify the Special Provisions for the Point Grey Special Development zone set out in Schedule 7 of the Scheme to remove discretion for planning approval of a marina, to amend or remove other provisions relating to a marina and making consequential changes to reflect this.
Amendment 6 proposes to rectify an anomaly concerning ‘Private Community Purposes’ zone within the scheme. This will change the land use permissibility of ‘Grouped Dwelling’ and ‘Multiple Dwelling’ from a ‘discretionary land’ use to a ‘not permitted’ land use in the ‘Private Community Purposes’ zone; Rezone Lot 29 Barradine Way, Craigie from ‘Private Community Purposes’ to Residential R40 and add ‘Grouped Dwelling’ and ‘Multiple Dwelling’ to the land at Joondalup Resort.
Amendment 37 proposes to rezone Lots 20 and 21 Graham Road, Narrogin from Rural to General Industry to accommodate an ‘Agricultural Machinery Dealership and Service Centre’ on Lot 21 Graham Road
Amendment 185 proposes improvements to the administration of developer contribution arrangements to the East Wanneroo (Cells 1-9) Agreed Structure Plans.
Amendment 114 proposes to rezone land in the Herdsman Glendalough Special Control Area from ‘Development’ to ‘Residential’, ’Light Industry’ and ‘Mixed Use’. This amendment proposes provisions in the Scheme text necessary as a consequence of the Planning and Development (Local Planning Scheme Regulations) 2015. The area is already fully developed.
Amendment 43 proposes to introduce Additional Uses and a Special Control Area over Lot 500 Murray Street, West Perth to facilitate a supermarket mixed use development.
The City of Armadale proposes to rezone Lot 3 Armadale Road and Lot 301 Anstey Road, Forrestdale from Urban to Local Centre. The site already contains residential development.
Amendment 8 proposes to reduce the residential densities of properties on Alexander Road, Philip Road, Waratah Avenue and Alexander Place, Dalkeith.
Amendment 44 proposes to introduce a Special Control Area (SCA) over the above land to allow it to be treated as one site, for the purposes of calculating plot ratio and tenant car parking.
